The Fair GO SA Inc. co-hosted a community forum with the Asian Australians for Climate Resolutions and the Doctors for the Environment Australia on the 27th of August 2023. Approximately 20 participants attended the forum to gain insights into the health risks associated with gas stoves and the hazards of microplastics on our environment and health. We were privileged to have Dr. Kate Wylie, the Executive Director of the Doctors for the Environment Australia, as our special guest speaker. Dr. Corrine Ang and Dr. YiZhong Zhuang also presented on the health risks of gas stoves. The forum provided valuable information, highlighting the urgent need for action to mitigate these risks. Participants left with a greater understanding of how climate change and environmental pollutants can impact their families' health, emphasising the importance of community engagement and informed decision-making in addressing these pressing issues.
